Missions
The activity leader is mainly located in the collective reception of minors (extracurricular reception, leisure activities, vacation stays). They may also work in any structure that organizes leisure and socio-cultural activities, whether in the public sector (local authorities and public establishments) or the private sector (associations, commercial structures, etc.).
The activity and daily life coordinator carries out his/her professional activity in reference to the project of the structure that employs him/her and as part of a team.
- He/she designs and leads daily life activities in different reception areas.
- He/she designs and leads educational activities, in different reception areas, for a group, using activities from 3 main areas:
> expressive activities.
> physical activities.
> scientific and technical activities, within the limits of the regulatory frameworks.
- He/she ensures the safety of third parties and of the public in his/her charge.
Prerequisites
Be an employee of a local authority.
Objectives of the training
The training is organized in 4 capitalizable units in the training center, and alternately in the company.
The capitalizable units are as follows:
UC1: participate in the project and in the life of the structure.
UC2: lead the daily life of groups.
UC3: design activities for a group.
UC4: lead activities.
