Missions
He/she will work as a receptionist in tourist offices, country houses, open-air hotels, social and family tourism, vacation villages, marinas, casinos, golf courses, rental structures, museums and tourist sites, festivals and cultural events, transport services, wellness and leisure companies.
The tourist and leisure receptionist welcomes, informs and guides individual visitors or groups.
He/she mainly works in a reception area in the presence of customers, but also by telephone and through web communication tools (internet messaging, chat, forum, social networks).
Prerequisites
Baccalaureate level or equivalent, English level A2 of the CECRL (reading, understanding the overall meaning of texts, asking questions...)
One year of experience in contact with the public, including seasonal jobs or volunteer work is highly desirable.
A driver's license is desirable for professional integration.
Objectives of the training
1 - Manage a customer relationship in a destination and/or a tourist location:
- Accompany customers when making reservations or purchasing tourist services online.
- Welcome, inform and guide tourist customers.
- Organize tourist data and disseminate information on different media.
2 - Assist customers with tourist and leisure services:
- Advise and sell tourist and leisure services and additional products/services.
- Provide a rental service linked to a leisure service.
3 - Contribute to the implementation of festive and cultural events:
- Participate in the promotion of festive and cultural events.
- Contribute to the organization and logistics of festive and cultural events.
- Contribute to the reception and animation during festive and cultural events.
