Missions
The PSC1 training allows any person to acquire the necessary skills to carry out a citizen action of assistance to person by carrying out the elementary gestures of help.this PSC1 training will teach you to react in front of situations of the everyday life: malaise, traumatisms, loss of consciousness, cardiac arrest, etc. Throughout the session, you will alternate between theoretical exchanges, practical learning and role playing.
This initial training can be accompanied each year by a refresher course as part of a continuing education program.
Anyone who wants to learn first aid can take the PSC1 course and obtain a diploma or certificate of training in PSC1. This diploma is a first aid diploma that does not require any pre-requisite since it is accessible to all those who are at least 10 years old and who want to learn first aid.a certificate of competence is issued, according to the decree of November 16, 2011, to those who have actively participated in the entire session.this certificate is recognized by the state services.
Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites to follow the PSC1 training, no previous knowledge is necessary. From 10 years old, everyone can follow this training.

Objectives of the training
Competences and aptitudes
The objective of the "Level 1 Prevention and First Aid" teaching unit is to acquire the necessary skills to carry out a citizen's action of assistance to a person by carrying out elementary first aid gestures, in accordance with the provisions in force. This training aims to introduce citizens to the basics of first aid. It is provided based on an internal training and certification reference system established by the Sports Directorate and the Ministry of Sports' national first aid teaching team.
The training will aim to obtain a certificate of competence, the trained person must be able to carry out a citizen action to assist a person by performing basic first aid procedures. In particular, he/she must be capable of:
- Ensuring immediate, appropriate and permanent protection for himself/herself, the victim and other people from surrounding dangers
- Ensuring the transmission of the alert to the most appropriate service
- Immediately performing the first aid procedures on a person:
- Victim of an airway obstruction
- Victim of heavy bleeding
- Unconscious and breathing
- In cardiac arrest
- Victim of a malaise
- Victim of a trauma
