CEES Gathering: Supporting Student-Athletes in Their Triple Project
From February 9 to 11, 2026, CEES brought together 39 student-athletes from the territory at the Soualiga Middle School for three mornings dedicated to strengthening the triple project: academic, athletic and civic. Through six thematic workshops, this gathering reaffirmed the CEES ambition: to structure pathways, support high standards and make sport a lever for education, engagement and personal development.

Des ateliers ludiques pour apprendre les valeurs citoyennes
Début mai, 43 élèves du Centre d’Excellence et d’Éducation par le Sport (CEES) ont participé à plusieurs ateliers animés par l’association Soualigan Slangs dans le cadre du Festival Langues Arts et Cultures (FLAC). L’objectif : apprendre à « travailler en équipe pour résoudre des challenges » et à « cultiver les différences » pour avancer.

La sélection U18 de Saint-Martin a remporté ce week-end la première édition du Sisters Islands Basketball Tournament face aux États-Unis, 33 à 30. Une première édition réussie, qui marque l’ambition du Comité territorial de faire de l’île un rendez-vous incontournable du basket caribéen.

Languages, Arts and Cultures Festival (FLAC 2026) – At the crossroads of global citizens: cultivating our shared humanity
As part of the festival "Languages, arts and cultures at the crossroads of world citizens – let's cultivate our universality," the CEES celebrated the commitment of its 33 student-athletes from Soualiga College through a dynamic and unifying workshop, organized on Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 3 PM to 5 PM at Soualiga College.

Basketball: Sisters Islands Basketball Tournament
The 2026 edition will take place on May 15 and 16 at the Jean-Louis Vanterpool Stadium Sports Hall in Marigot. Over two days, the best U18 teams from the United States, Anguilla, Tortola, Martinique, Guadeloupe, Sint Maarten, and Saint-Martin will participate in high-level matches, recognition events, official ceremonies, and activities designed to highlight youth, sport, and Caribbean cooperation.

During this first quarter of 2026, the Center for Excellence and Education through Sport (CEES) resolutely pursued its mission: to support young people from Saint-Martin through a path of excellence combining academic success, sports performance and citizen engagement. Between inspiring educational actions, events in favor of women's sport and detection campaigns throughout the country, the last few months have illustrated the dynamic carried out by CEES and its partners.
