Jacob Brown, former NFL player, inspires young athletes at CEES
On February 9th, 15 student-athletes from the Centre d'Excellence et d'Éducation par le Sport (CEES) in Saint-Martin had the chance to meet Jacob Brown, a former NFL (National Football League) player turned motivational speaker, who shared with them key tools for personal development to help them thrive in their disciplines.

SAILING: Setting sail for the Nautical Week with young sailors from the CST
Three students from the Territorial Sports Centre (CST) for sailing in Saint-Martin flew last Thursday to Fort-de-France for the International Nautical Week of Schœlcher in Martinique. This high-level light-sailing competition, bringing together 150 sailors from the Caribbean and Europe, began on Saturday and ends tomorrow, with results announced at 6pm.

Jacob Brown inspires young athletes
From February 9 to 11, the Centre d'Excellence et d'Éducation par le Sport (CEES) organised an unprecedented programme at the Soualiga Middle School, bringing together student-athletes from across the territory. An initiative placing sport at the heart of a structured educational project, with the exceptional participation of Jacob Brown, former NFL athlete turned coach and speaker.

CEES student-athlete gathering: three structured mornings in service of the triple project
From February 9 to 11, 2026, CEES brought together 39 student-athletes from the territory at the Soualiga Middle School for three mornings dedicated to strengthening the triple project: academic, athletic and civic. Through six thematic workshops, this gathering reaffirmed the CEES ambition: to structure pathways, support high standards and make sport a lever for education, engagement and personal development.

CEES: what are the highlights of the 2024–2025 season?
The 2024–2025 season will stand as a milestone for the Centre d'Excellence et d'Éducation par le Sport (CEES). Marked by the transition from an association to a Public Administrative Establishment (EPA), this year consolidated CEES's work while maintaining strong momentum: guiding Saint-Martin's youth toward athletic, academic and civic success.

At the heart of a three-part project, the Territorial Sports Centres provide a structured, demanding and supportive environment, conducive to the harmonious development of each student-athlete's triple project: athletic, academic and civic. Behind the scenes at the gymnastics CST
CEES highlights the Gymnastics CST through the journey of Grace Riom, a dedicated coach, and that of young student-athlete Na'Omy Lejeune Charbonnier. Their testimony clearly illustrates the athletic and educational support provided within the centre, where progression, academic balance and individual fulfilment go hand in hand, in line with the CEES educational mission.

The Centre d'Excellence et d'Éducation par le Sport (CEES) is a Public Administrative Establishment supported by the Collectivity of Saint-Martin. It falls within the strategic framework of the Territorial Sport Development Plan 2018–2028 and aims to make sport a vehicle for equal opportunities, educational success and territorial integration.

3rd edition of the Integration Fortnight at Soualiga Middle School (18–29 August 2025)
August 18, 2025 marked the launch of the 3rd Integration Fortnight of the Centre d'Excellence et d'Éducation par le Sport (CEES) at the Soualiga Middle School. Now an unmissable event, this pre-term programme accompanies student-athletes aged 7 to 17, from the territorial sports centres, in their preparation for the new school and sports year.

CEES Rising Talents 2025
The CEES RISING TALENTS ceremony is an event dedicated to celebrating the athletic, academic and civic journeys of student-athletes from the Territorial Sports Centres (CST) of Saint-Martin. Its purpose is to highlight the remarkable efforts, achievements and commitments of our young student-athletes, as well as the importance of the coaches, partners and institutions who support them in their pursuit of excellence.

Study on sports coaching: results of the 2023 Territorial Diagnostic
Carried out as part of the establishment of the CEES Training and Employment Hub in September 2023, this study presents a diagnostic of sports coaching in the voluntary sector in Saint-Martin. It is not simply an analysis of figures, but a living portrait of our territory's sporting vitality. This diagnostic helps us understand the challenges, needs and opportunities related to sports coaching in associations in Saint-Martin, and ultimately, to define the overall strategy for developing training and employment in the sports sector in Saint-Martin.

The pilot year of the Centre d'Excellence et d'Éducation par le Sport (CEES) is drawing to a close. The time has come to review our actions and share the progress made in our mission to promote sporting and educational excellence in Saint-Martin. Our organisation has been committed to a strategy built around four pillars: institutional development, training and professionalisation, the performance pathway, and territorial attractiveness.
