SAILING: Young sailors from the CST set their sights on Sailing Week
Three students from the Saint Martin Territorial Sports Center (CST) sailing club flew to Fort-de-France last Thursday to take part in the Schœlcher International Sailing Week in Martinique. This high-level dinghy sailing competition, which brings together 150 sailors from the Caribbean and Europe, began on Saturday and will end tomorrow, with the results announced at 6 p.m.

Jacob Brown inspires young athletes
From February 9 to 11, the Center for Excellence and Education through Sport (CEES) organized a unique program at Soualiga College, bringing together student-athletes from across the territory. This initiative places sport at the heart of a structured educational project, with the exceptional participation of Jacob Brown, a former NFL athlete who is now a coach and speaker.

CEES: what is the outlook for the 2024-2025 season?
The 2024-2025 season will remain a defining moment for the Center of Excellence and Education through Sport (CEES). Marked by the transition from association status to that of a Public Administrative Institution (EPA), this year consolidated the CEES's work while maintaining a strong dynamic: supporting the youth of Saint-Martin in their sporting, academic, and civic success.

At the heart of a tripartite project, the Territorial Sports Centers offer a structured, demanding, and supportive environment conducive to the harmonious development of each student-athlete's threefold project: athletic, academic, and civic. The Centre d'Excellence et d'Éducation par le Sport (CEES) is a Public Administrative Establishment supported by the Collectivité de Saint-Martin. It is part of the strategic framework of the Schéma Territorial de Développement du Sport 2018-2028 and aims to make sport a vector for equal opportunities, educational success and territorial integration.

August 18, 2025 marked the launch of the 3ᵉ Quinzaine d'intégration du Centre d'Excellence et d'Éducation par le Sport (CEES) at Soualiga College. Now a not-to-be-missed event, this pre-bye accompanies student-athletes aged 7 to 17 from territorial sports centers as they prepare for the new school and sports year.
